Dear Friends and Colleagues,
This has been a challenging month for me, my Mom was here with me for 2 weeks after her partner (aka stepfather) passed on. She is doing very well, and I will be staying with her for a few days this week.
I’ve had to “step back” quite often and have been extremely discriminating in what I’ve chosen to spend my time doing and planning.
I am taking a vacation with my husband to Vermont and Quebec City, a place we’ve wanted to revisit for a while. A topic I’ve been re-exploring is turning misfortune into opportunity. Pausing, patience, paying attention and faith have great impact on the ability to regroup and move forward. Onward!
“The period of greatest gain in knowledge and experience is the most difficult period in one’s life.”
--Dalai Lama
“Out of clutter, find Simplicity. From discord, find Harmony. In the middle lies opportunity.”
--Albert Einstein
“…and the darkest hour is just before dawn.”
--The Mama’s and the Papas (Dedicated to the One I Love)
Namaste! Let the light shine in and keep it going round..enjoy the summer!
Eileen
